How to find peace when we are not where we want to be?
The Gen-Z Mystic’s way of finding the flow when it’s too difficult to be patient for our dream life, and the results of our hard work to manifest.
You know those moments, those periods of time, where we just wish we were past it?? The times when we are working hard for our future and can’t wait to get there.
We’ve all been in that frustrating and life-sucking place in time.
And we’ve all been advised that we need to be patient. That we can’t hurry greatness.
But here’s what we haven’t heard as much:
It sucks and it’s okay that it sucks.
Not every moment and period of our lives has to be heaven on earth.
And yes we need to be patient but how the mother-forking-way?!
Let’s get into it from a gen-z mystic’s way ;)
Being patient for what we truly desire, be it a lifestyle, a dream partner, or the career growth that we’ve been working so hard for, it’s really freaking difficult.
But in the hardships of it all, we can still be at peace and feel more easeful with the waves of the journey (And no it’s not about finding joy in the small moments)!
Here are the 3 main steps that will allow us to find peace when being patient becomes too difficult:
Number One
Let It Suck.
A lot of times, we are so focused on making every period of our lives to be perfect and good, that we forget, it’s simply not possible.
Just because for some time our life sucks or was emotionally difficult and heavy, it doesn’t make us a failure, it doesn’t mean we have wasted our lives, and it certainly doesn’t mean that we could’ve done better.
Life has ups and downs. It’s an inevitable fact that we have to live through as human beings.
And as human beings, we need those ups and downs to grow, learn, and get closer to our highest selves.
So, let this time of life suck.
You’ll see how surrendering to it, quickly opens up your energy to find memorable moments to joyfully be present (so it’s not about forcing ourselves to appreciate the small things in life, it’s about creating space to see them).
Number Two
Write What Is It That You’re Working Towards.
Reminding ourselves of what we’re working so hard for, is a great way to gain a boost of energy and refocus.
However, we don’t wanna live in the future so much that we forget to actually do the work in the present moment!
That’s why writing it is a great way to release what we are dreaming in our mind, and come back to the reality of the work that we need to do to get there.
A simple shift that has helped me do the hard work is that I romanticize it. I imagine myself in a movie and watch as my story plays out. It makes it so much more fun and you might even pat yourself on the back for the work you’re doing.
I’ll write more about this in the upcoming weeks.
Number Three
Reconnect To Your Soul With High-frequency Reading.
When we read something that touches our Soul, that reminds us of who we are, that brings back the light that was getting dim… we give our Soul a boost of energy and make it easier for ourselves to find the flow again.
Because no matter in what stage of our lives we are, unless we are connected to our Higher Self, and feel the warmth of the guidance within us, we will feel lost and frustrated, and burned out.
And this is where as a Gen-Z Mystic I know that I’m riding the waves with grace: my Soul is shining strong.
Tell me about a time you got impatient with where you were and how does it feel to look back now?!

Thank you for sharing this soulful message Pegah. I love the energy and intention behind your words. I published a piece yesterday that included my thoughts on peace because it’s something I’ve been sitting with too.
I’ve come to realise that by focusing too far into the future all the time we’re literally rewiring our brain to focus on finding happiness in the future. While manifesting our desires can be frustrating because of the time lag, what helps is finding gratitude in the small things I already have and the small tasks I get done. It’s like putting pieces of the puzzle together for the bigger picture to come together.
Keep sharing your wisdom 😊🙏🏽
I love the guidance about letting things suck. The greater cultural imposition is to suppress, disassociate, and essentially reject our Wholeness when our lives aren't meeting the unrealistic ideals that we are taught to pursue. The reality of being Human is to navigate through limitation, to FEEL the edges of our capacity, to BE inside of our perspective as it meets with the life and alchemizes in the present moment. Human Life is messy and uncomfortable, grief is inevitable, pain is integral... this is where we meet our thresholds and commune with our shadows. This is where we learn our distinction, our unique lens of being, and birth creative expression. Our pains and shitty moments of life go hand in hand with our euphoric joyful graciousness. Wholeness. Wholeness is our true journey.
