The concept of good or bad has left such deep rooted beliefs within us, and I think that it has hurt us more than it has served.
We’ve been told that grief, sadness, anger, annoyance, jealousy, and hurt are bad feelings. But are they really bad?
Or are they just signs that our body and soul continues to communicate to us?
Same way, we have been told that getting into a car crash, getting sick, having cancer, or losing your hair is bad. But is it really? We have only become scared of it because of the feelings it might bring.
It might hurt, we might grieve, and we most probably would get hella annoyed and upset. But who’s to say that what happens is good or bad?
And the feelings that come, even the events, they all pass, don’t they?
The journey we are on is quite literally a long one with many ups and downs.
Full of unknown mysteries.
And what if we were taught that nothing bad ever happens, rather an uncomfortable moment in the vastness of our life which will only serves us for the greater good.
If only we had grown up with this mindset…
Every time I duel on this, the more I am convinced that good or bad are meaningless. The more I realize that this concept has only fueled our fears.
We are told that not abiding by the rules is bad. We are told that being proud of ourselves is selfish, and being selfish is bad. And we are told that accidents are misfortunes, and misfortunes are bad.
But what if it was flipped?
What if we learned that rules are there for a reason but not all of them are meant to be followed exactly right. What if we were taught that the only rule was to not hurt other people or cause pain for others because that’s not part of our inherit nature.
Just like how being “selfish” is not inherently wrong, rather it can turn into something hurtful when it’s unaligned to our true pure nature.
And what if there are no accidents? That everything happens as it is meant to?
If I was telling a philosopher or a phycologist all of this, they would’ve most likely disagreed and told me that humans are inherently selfish in a bad way, and humans are closer to their animal instincts than higher energetics.
But here’s a proven fact:
Everything we experience, believe in, and live in this lifetime, is ALL in our heads.
And our minds are powerful enough to create ANY type of reality.
So, the real question here is: why NOT believe in the inherited good? Why not believe in divinity? Why not believe in a world that is beautiful and kind?
It all comes back to each one of us.
So, what kind of world do you live in?
